South Indian style Idli recipe||How to make restaurants/SouthIndian style soft Idli at home





Breakfast recipe



Ingredients::
1 cup parboiled rice
1/2 cup black gram(Urad dal)
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
Salt to taste










A.] First wash rice along with Split black gram & Fenugreek seeds then soak in sufficient water for 4-5 hours.After 4-5 hrs drain water & grind a smooth paste.




B.After grind the Ingredients add salt to taste &mix well,set aside to ferment for 9-10 hours.

C].Add 2 cups of water in Idli steamer,Grease Idli mould with  oil & pour a ladle ful of batter in the mould & tap it once for shape.

D].Place the Idli mould in the steamer,cover & cook for 12-15 minutes.
Now our hot Idli is ready to serve and eatπŸ™‚πŸ‘.
